About Us

Family Luxe started seven years ago, built from my 17 years working in travel and a shared belief between Gary and me that planning a holiday could, and should, feel far more personal.

We’ve always loved to travel ourselves. We want to see the hotels, walk around the resorts, experience the destinations and meet the people behind them. From finding the best ski resorts in the mountains to exploring Caribbean islands like Grenada, we’re constantly discovering somewhere new. We love getting under the skin of a destination, experiencing different cultures and building relationships with the people we meet along the way. It means that when we recommend somewhere, there’s real knowledge and experience behind it, and we know exactly why we think it’s right for you.

Seven years on, Family Luxe looks very different. We now look after hundreds of travellers every year and have an incredible community of clients who return to us trip after trip. But one thing we’ve been determined not to change as we’ve grown is how personal it feels.

With three daughters and Ralph, our Cavapoo, life is busy which is probably why we know just how much those weeks away matter. The out-of-offices go on, the school bags get left at home and, for once, everyone gets to properly switch off. We never forget that our clients are trusting us with some of the most anticipated days of their year. So no matter how much Family Luxe grows, we’ll keep doing things the way we always have: personally, thoughtfully, and with every client feeling like they’re the only one.
